    T Please look at the picture There is a fat man and some delicious food What will happen to the fat man Let’s see a video
    (Show students a video about healthy eating )


    T What’s the theme of the video

    T Yes Do you think health is important Well do you think you are in a good state of health Let’s do a test on your health condition



    T If you say more than three yes to theses questions it means you are not healthy enough Then what shall we do to keep healthy After this class you’ll know how to keep health






    Show students some words about health and ask students to classify the words into three groups diet exercise illness


    Ask students to think of some advanced or different words to replace the underlined ones
    1 I have had a busy life
    2 I don’t have a healthy diet
    3 I have no interest in sports
    4 I haven’t got enough sleep or exercise
    5 I have got stomachache too often
    6 I have a bad habit of smoking
    T If we meet with these health problems what should we do to keep healthy Doctor Yao gives us some suggestions Listen and fill in the blanks
    1) keep follow a ____________ diet
    2) __________ the habit of staying up
    3) take do ____________ exercise
    4) _____________ work and relaxation
    5) ______________ drinking coffee






    Show students three pictures of Xiao Ming and ask students to fill in the blanks using the words and phrases in the above parts to describe his health problems

    T If you’re Xiao Ming’s friends what suggestions will you give him

    Lead students to discuss in groups to give Xiao Ming some suggestions
    Show students some examples
    It’s high time that he should relax himself
    My advice is that he should make a reasonable plan



    Show students three pictures of Denny and ask students to describe his health problems and give some suggestions

    Show students the writing requirements and ask students to finish the writing





    After discussion ask some volunteers to show the composition After presentation give some comments of the performance

    Discuss in groups and try to classify the words about health according to different word banks about health

    Discuss in groups and find out some words to replace the underlined ones

    Give Denny some suggestions to help him form a healthy lifestyle


    Discuss in groups and write a composition together One of the group members write when others are discussing
